The girls competed in their annual McCarthy Cup event at Betteshanger sports club and what a superb performance they put in for a team that haven't played together.
A win against St. Mary's 1-0 two draws against Sandwich 0-0 and Sandown 1-1 plus 1-0 loses to Kingsdown and Whitfield showed just how far they've all come in just two full training sessions since the start of term as a team .
Every game they played the girls were full of determination, commitment, confidence, and spirit throughout and looked like a team that will only get better as the year goes on .
Well done to all of the girls for everything they gave on the pitch today . Some outstanding saves!
